Breaking News from the New York Times
The New York Times sent out a message about some breaking news yesterday: Ohtani Shohei is moving to a new team! He used to play for the Angels, a Los Angeles team, and now he will be with LA’s other team, the Dodgers. His new salary will make him the richest baseball player in the history of MLB. He will make 700 million dollars over ten years. That is 70 million dollars or one billion yen per year. That means that he will get about six million yen per game! He’s a great player, and I’m happy for him, but what is he going to do with all that money? I just hope he continues to play baseball like he has been.
