Readers’ Corner: The Flower Pots Have Gone
The superintendent of my condo (apartment building) left at the end of May. He had been with us for more than 10 years. He was always thinking about what was good for the residents and trying new ideas. Putting seasonal flowers in pots and placing them at several places in the condo was one of them. At the beginning of this May, he put flowers in pots and placed them in several places as usual. However, the condo management company suddenly told him to leave. He must have been surprised to hear that. One day before he left, all the flower pots had gone. I thanked him for the beautiful flowers and then learned that he had bought them with his own money.
