Everyone Is Going to the Moon
These days it seems like everyone is going to the moon. A Japanese venture company named ispace sent up a moon lander on a Space-X rocket yesterday from Florida. ispace wants to make it possible for people to live and work on the moon in the future. The American space agency NASA also has a moon program called Artemis. They are working with private companies to send people to explore the moon and stay there for long periods. Another country that is planning to go to the moon is China. They are building their own space station now, and they plan to send astronauts to the moon by the year 2030. And don’t forget Russia! They have plans to launch their moon lander, Luna 25, in 2023.
