読者の作品です。久しぶりに鳶（トビ/トンビ）が飛んでいるのを見ました。
★学びたい英語/まねたい英語（特にお手本と思うところ）
・トビという鳥は（茶色で・・・）・・・この文の前まではある日トビを見たという出来事を話していますが、この文ではトビの説明をしています。トビを複数にして現在形で話しています。時制を自在に操ることは大事ですね。
・（子供のころはよく見たがその後長らくトビを）見なかった・・・否定の流れなのでanyを使って繰り返しを避けています。
・またトビを見たい・・・ここではoneを使って繰返しを避けています。

Readers’ Corner: Black Kites
Have you ever seen black kites (“tonbi” in Japanese)? The other day, it was sunny and the wind was calm. I was taking a walk and heard a very noticeable call by a bird. I looked up in the sky and searched for a black kite. I was right. I saw a dark bird flying in a circle. Black kites are brown and bigger than crows, and they fly in a circle. The area where I live is on a plain, but there are some bushes and woods. I guess black kites like this kind of place. When I was a child, I sometimes saw them here, but I hadn’t seen any for a long time. I’m really looking forward to seeing one again soon!
