Readers’ Corner: Educating my Husband
With the coronavirus, I pay a lot of attention to hygiene around the house, but my husband is careless. He forgets to wash his hands, touches his nose and eyes with his hands, and leaves his used face masks everywhere. My daughter and I tried to educate him, but he said angrily, “Don’t treat me like a germ.” We showed him an educational YouTube video produced by a doctor that explained how easily we get infected. The doctor said the coronavirus is like glitter. It stays longer than you think and is not easy to remove. The video worked. It seemed to frighten him and now he listens to advice.
