★学びたい英語/まねたい英語（特にお手本と思うところ）
・センターの周囲をきれいにしておく･･･「センター（施設）の周囲」という言い方、英語は後から修飾するお手本ですね。
・最初の２つの文は現在時制で日常のことを述べています。３つ目の文は過去の特定の出来事を述べ、以後現在と過去が交互に出てきます。いつでものことと過去の出来事をサラッと書き分けていますね。お手本です。

Foreign Bees
I work part-time at a visitor center near the Fujimae Tidal Flat in Nagoya. One of my jobs is to keep the area around the center looking neat, so I go out during the day and cut down weeds. I spent about two hours the other day cutting weeds around the signs and along the stairs up to the levee (“teibo”) above the tidal flat. Japanese carpenter bees love the flowering bushes in the area. You can recognize these bees by their yellow coats, but this year I noticed that most of the bees didn’t have the coats. They were all black. These are not Japanese bees. They come from Taiwan or China.
