今日の作品は中学生の第3位です。高齢のおじいさんのユーモラスな行動を書きました。

・お寺にお墓参りに行った･･･日本語の言い方とは違いますね。
・賽銭箱
・泥棒だと思って出てきた･･･ing形は便利ですね。（分詞構文という名前があります）

JUNIOR HIGH ESSAY, 3rd Prize: My Grandfather
My grandfather is 94 years old, but he is very cheerful and healthy. I visited him one day on the summer vacation. Our family went to a temple to visit the family grave. He prayed to God. He lit a match and threw it into the trash can. But he thought that he had thrown it behind the collection box. He shook the box, and the alarm sounded. An angry temple owner came out thinking that he was a thief. He didn’t hear the alarm, so he greeted her. She knew him, and she realized what was wrong. My family watched everything and laughed. He is a very funny man and a good person. We love him.
