A Professional Football Player in the Kitchen
Professional athletes don‘t usually work in elementary schools after they retire, but a 34-year-old professional American football player decided to help the Catholic school where his children go. The lunch manager quit just before the start off the school year, and they needed someone quickly. This player loves to cook, and he wanted the children to have good, healthy food. He took the job and changed the menu from cheeze pizza, chicken nuggets, and French fries to food from all over the world. He serves bulgogi from Korea, chicken tikka from India, sauerkraut and sausages from Germany, and vegetable pizza. The children love it!
