本当のバレンタインデーとは
昨日のじゃれマガはとてもいい内容だったのでここで紹介します。

The Readers’ Column: I had an American roommate named Mary when I was studying in Seattle. One day her boyfriend came to our place early in the morning and fixed her breakfast in the kitchen. He put it on her tray with a pretty rose and brought it to her bed. Later Mary took some bags of candy with her when she left for school. She said they were for the bus driver and the school janitor (“yomuin”). It was Valentine’s Day! I was very surprised at the differences between America and Japan.
