Disappointment!
When my granddaughter came back from school after morning handball practice, she looked very hot and tired. We had lunch together, and I suggested shaved ice for a 3-o’clock snack. She jumped at the idea. “I want ramune!” she said. There is a delicious shaved ice store in our neighborhood, but I seldom go there because it is only open during the day. I heard that they only had takeout this year, so I went off alone to buy the shaved ice. When I arrived, the store was closed. What a disappointment! At least we were able to get an iced frappe at the local convenience store.
