There Will Be Baseball!
I watched high school coaches telling their players that the summer tournament at Koshien was cancelled three weeks ago. Some players broke down in tears. They had worked so hard to get into the tournament. This was supposed to be one of the greatest moments of their lives, but now the coronavirus had taken it away from them. Yesterday I saw smiles come back to their faces. All the teams will be able to play at Koshien this summer. It won’t be a tournament. Each team will only be able to play one game, but at least they will have a chance to play on their field of dreams.
