“Pasta Grannies”
Italy is a land of slow food, and the people there love to eat good food. These days anyone can go to the store and buy pasta, but Italian women used to make their own pasta. Every household had its own recipe. One British woman decided to go around the country and collect the recipes of the old women who still make pasta. She calls them “Pasta Grannies.” She made a YouTube channel and has filmed more than 250 of these women. I watched one of the oldest, who is 100 years old. She is still cooking, and you can see her making a pasta called tagliarini.
