今日は保育園に登園する初日でしたが、園は地域に開放されているので昨年も何度も来たことがあります。その頃は娘は私が一緒にいないと一人ではいられませんでした。それが今日は最初こそ泣いたものの１時間一人でいることができた･･･という状況がつかめるとよくわかります。

Readers’ Corner: My Daughter’s First Day at Nursery School
Today was a special day for me because my daughter went to nursery school for the first time. Actually, we visited the nursery school together many times last year because the school is open to local parents and children. However, she had never stayed there without me. As I expected, she started to cry when I was about to leave. She stayed there on her own for only one hour. After this, I think we were both exhausted, me from worry, and she because it was a big new experience. I will always remember this day, but I think she will forget it soon.
