Judo Gold
Japan is looking very strong in judo again. The 2020 Judo Grand Slam Dusseldorf was held from Feb 21 to Feb 23 in Germany, and athletes from 115 countries took part. Japan won the most gold medals in the competition and the most medals overall. Eight of the Japanese judo wrestlers got the gold medal in their weight class while two others got a silver and a bronze medal each. Two of the gold medals went to a brother and sister. Abe Hifumi, a 22-year-old, won the gold medal in the 66 kg class, and his 19-year-old sister Uta won the gold in the 52 kg class.
