Talking at the Movies
I watched the movie “Drive My Car” with my wife last night. This Japanese movie has already gotten several awards at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Globe Awards, and it may win more prizes at the Academy Awards next month. Instead of going to a movie theater, we streamed it at home. Usually, I prefer to go to the movies, but this time I was happy that I could watch it at home. There were a lot of subtitles because the actors spoke in different languages, so I couldn’t always follow the story. If I were in a movie theater, it would be difficult to talk. Because we were at home, I was able to ask my wife questions.
