One of the most popular tourist spots in Hakodate is Goryokaku. It is a large fort that was built at the end of the Edo period. The fortress is shaped like a star and has large grounds that are covered with cherry trees. About one week ago, a company uploaded a picture of the Goryokaku to SNS saying how beautiful it was in the autumn. The bright red trees were eye-catching, and the photo got a lot of likes, but some people wondered if it was real. In fact, it was too good to be true. The photographer used special software to make the colors much brighter. You can’t believe everything you see on the Internet!
