この時期は日本でお盆といって故郷に帰ってお墓参りするのが習いですが、今年は・・・。
★学びたい英語/まねたい英語（特にお手本と思うところ）
・（社員が帰郷できる）ように（休暇を与える）・・・so thatは「～が～できるように」を表すとても有用な構文です。どんどん使えば使うほど上手になります。
ただ、thatが省略される場合も多々あります。
それと、so 形容詞 that 節 （あまりに～なので～できない）と見分け、使い分けに注意が必要ですが、単に慣れです。

The “Obon” Holidays
We are in the middle of August. This time is called “obon” in Japanese. It is not a public holiday, but many companies give their workers time off so that they can go back to their hometown. Buddhists believe that the spirits of the ancestors come back at this time to visit their relatives. “Bon” dances are held, and people go to their family graves and pray. Recently, however, many people don’t go back to their hometowns. Instead, they spend the time traveling to other places and having a good time. How are you spending “obon” this year?
