What’s Next?
Some people think that holding the Olympics in Tokyo during the pandemic was a mistake. Because of the Olympics, many people got together, and there were more and more cases of Covid-19. Other people think that holding the Olympics was a good idea. The athletes gave hope to people who were tired and wanted to think about something besides the pandemic. For two weeks, all the news in Japan was about Covid-19 or the Olympics. Now the games are over, so what’s next? There will be a two-week break, and then the Paralympics start on Aug. 24.
