Which Way to Mecca?
I went to a Turkish restaurant to buy food for dinner last Sunday. While I was waiting at the counter, one of the cooks came out, put a prayer rug on the floor, and started to pray. I was a surprised at first, but then I remembered that most Turks are believers in Islam. They are supposed to face towards Mecca and pray five times a day. But how did the cook know which way Mecca was? Using my smartphone, I checked on the Internet and found that there is a special site. It uses your location and your camera to show you where Mecca is.
