The Last Colors of Autumn
I was driving around Nagoya yesterday with my wife, and I pointed to some ginkgo trees along the road. They were completely yellow. It’s the middle of December, but there are still leaves on the trees! Here and there we can see a few other trees still holding onto their red leaves. These reds and yellows are the last colors of autumn. The weather has been mild, and the days have been sunny and warm. Then yesterday, the temperature dropped down below 10. The high today is only 4 degrees. If we get snow, that will definitely be the end of the autumn colors this year.
