ビートルズの新譜が出ましたね。７０年代のジョンのカセットテープから復刻しようと1995年に一度挑戦したとは初めて知りました。

The Last Beatles Song
I was a great fan of the Beatles in the 1960s, and after the band broke up in 1970, I thought I would never hear a new Beatles song. Then last week, “Now and Then” came out. Two of the four members, John Lennon and George Harrison, have been dead for many years, so how can the Beatles put out a new song? Actually, this song was written and recorded by John Lennon in the 1970s. He was killed in 1980, so the other three Beatles used his recording and worked on the song in 1995. Unfortunately, the recording was so poor that they gave up. Now the technology is much better and they fixed the original recording. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr added their voices and instruments as well as George’s guitar playing from 1995. The song is good, but I prefer the old Beatles songs.
