Readers’ Corner: “Barbie”
I went to see the movie ‘Barbie’ this summer. It is not easy being a woman. We are supposed to be kind and have feminine grace. We should always be hardworking but should not overwhelm others. We should have careers and be good mothers and loving wives. But men also have a hard time as they are. They should be strong, successful and help women both openly and secretly. It was hilarious when the story showed how men like to teach women how to play golf, tennis and some other sports. I laughed at the men who love to play the guitar and sing while looking into a woman’s eyes. They think women will fall in love with them. Even so, I was moved by the whole story. It told us the most important thing is being yourself and doing what you want.
