Readers’ Corner: My Wife’s Advice
I have a problem with one of my colleagues. He reacts very quickly and says exactly what he thinks. His words are harsh, and they sometimes irritate me. I wanted to resolve this problem, so I talked with my wife and asked her for advice. She told me that she has worked with many different people, and some of them were terrible. However, she decided never to complain about her coworkers’ bad points and to help them when someone talked about their bad behavior. She learned it from one of her colleagues who got along with everyone. Thanks to my wife, I realized that I should be more mature and help my colleague more.
