2020年の夏の高校野球は中止になったのですね。その無念が昨日晴らされたそうです。

・（甲子園に行く）という夢を忘れられなかった･･･あるいは諦めなかったということをこう表現できますね。～すると言う夢、dream of ～ingこれも応用範囲が広いです。
・学校のユニフォームを着て集まった･･･分詞構文と呼ばれると難しそうに聞こえますが、ing形で付帯することを簡単に表せるのは便利ですね。

Their Dream Came True
Otake Yuto was a third-year student in Tokyo when the High School Baseball Championship was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. He couldn’t forget his dream of going to Koshien, so he started a project to bring the best high school teams of 2020 to Hyogo Prefecture for a chance to play at the stadium of their dreams. This dream finally came true yesterday. About 700 players from 45 high schools gathered at Koshien wearing their school uniforms. Everyone had time to practice on the field, and four lucky teams played regular games, The games will continue at different stadiums in Hyogo today and tomorrow.
