今日は不本意ながら、このシリーズ始まって以来、校正漏れの指摘になってしまいました💦
・一つ目はAnother。二組の親子のうちのひとつですからOne groupとThe other groupとするのが通例です。Another groupとすると、その他にもグループがいたように思います。
・最後のI sureは明らかにI’m sure/I am sure のミスですね。
うっかりミスはあるあるです。他山の石としたいですね。

Readers’ Corner: Harvest Day
I drove my car to a shop around 9 a.m. one Saturday morning at the end of October. There were two groups walking in the same direction on the sidewalk. One group was a dad and a boy. The dad wore long boots, and the boy, around 5 years old, had an empty plastic bag. Another group was a mom and two girls. The mom wore long boots too, and the girls wore their kindergarten sports uniforms. I imagined that they were kindergarten kids with their dad and mom and that they were heading for a kindergarten event. After I came back from shopping, I saw the dad and the boy again. The dad was carrying a fat plastic bag filled with sweet potatoes. I sure they enjoyed the harvest day event.
