To New York, and to the World Series?
Senga Kodai is one of Japan’s best pitchers. He has helped make the Softbank Hawks one of Japan’s best teams, and he helped Japan win a gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics. This year he had one of his best seasons. He is now a free agent, so he can play for any team in Japan or abroad. Several MLB teams have been talking to him, and on Sunday, he decided to play for the New York Mets. They are one of two teams in New York along with the Yankees. They already have two of the best pitchers in the Major Leagues. With Senga on their team, I think this team has a good chance to go to the World Series next year.
