・できるだけ外で過ごそうと思ったが、１時間ほどで犬を急き立てて家路についた･･･いつまでもいようと思ったけれどさすがに１時間たっても犬は満足しなさそうだったので、しびれを切らし家に帰ったという気分が伝わりますね。

Caught Twice in the Rain
I had a day off yesterday, and I went to a local park in the morning to see the lotus blossoms. They were beautiful. However, it was so hot that I started to sweat as soon as I got there. After lunch, I took my daughter’s dog for a long walk. It was still very hot. The dog lay down at a nearby playground to keep cool. He tried to stay outside as long as possible, but I made him go back home after an hour. Then I went shopping with my wife. It started to rain while we were at the store, but we were lucky because there was an umbrella in the car. The sun came out again, and I met a friend. We went for a walk. This time I wasn’t so lucky. We saw black clouds coming, and it suddenly began to rain. We got completely wet, but at least the rain cooled Nagoya down.
