Robot Chefs
One restaurant owner is opening a pasta restaurant at the end of this month in Tokyo. This restaurant is special because the pasta dishes are made by a robot, not a person. The robot boils the noodles, adds sauce, and mixes everything. Then it puts the pasta on a plate. A human chef finishes the order and serves the customer. The manager wants the restaurant to serve good-tasting food at a reasonable price. A similar restaurant has been operating in Paris since 2020, but the robot chef at the French restaurant makes everything. It was started by university students who wanted to eat healthy food that wasn’t too expensive. Robot chefs are cheaper, but are they as good as human chefs?
