Prague, the Capital of Czechia
We are in Prague, the capital city of Czechia. Most cities in central Europe were damaged during World War II, but Prague was not bombed. It is full of beautiful buildings from the 15th and 16th centuries, so it has become one of the most popular cities to visit in Europe. There are tourists everywhere. You can hear Italian, Spanish, German, English, French, Chinese, and of course Czech. The city is on the Vltava River (the Moldau River in German) and looks beautiful from a river cruise, especially in the evening. Because Prague is full of young tourists, the city doesn’t go to sleep until after 2 a.m.
