今日のじゃれマガ 全文
New Year’s Resolutions, Part One
So many readers sent me their resolutions that I cannot put them all into one message. Today I will be sending them out in three parts. Reader A is probably a university student and wants to keep his or her GPA above 3.0 in order to get a scholarship, read more, and earn more money. Reader B knows several languages and wants to teach English, Spanish and Esperanto to his or her friends, learn other languages, get exercise, and start speed reading and other kinds of speed learning. Reader C wants to reduce CO2 because that’s the most important thing for our children and grandchildren.
New Year’s Resolutions, Part Two
Reader D is older and wants to travel to hard-to-visit places and show young people that getting older isn’t as bad as they think. Reader E wants to make the people around him happy, surprise people in a good way, be kind to people, and enjoy his life. Reader F wants to have a balanced diet, take good care of his teeth, keep doing exercise, and relax after work. Reader G wants to stop wasting time, get rid of negative energy, and be thankful to the people around him. Reader H wants to get married. Reader I wants to volunteer to teach Japanese to foreign people living in Japan.
New Year’s Resolutions, Part Three
Reader J wants to concentrate on job hunting and study English by watching English videos on YouTube. Reader K wants to keep thinking positively for a year and never stop chasing her dreams. Reader L wants to memorize English sentences one by one every day. Reader M wants to find a new job and take his kids to see where he and his wife went on their honeymoon. One reader also asked me about my New Year’s resolution. This year I want to keep a diary in Korean every day, and so far, so good. I have written something in my diary every day. Good luck to everyone with your resolutions!
