いつものように漫然とじゃれマガ(クリック)を読んでいたら…「え！ジャレル先生もAKBを踊ったの？今年はそれほど『恋クッキー』が流行っていたんだ！これは大ニュース」と興奮しました。
その後、これは読者コーナーでジャレル先生ではない、しかもSeiko先生だとわかりました。なんたる大ボケ。。

Readers’ Corner: On the Subway Platform
I was waiting for the subway. Suddenly, a guy in a suit started practicing his golf form using his umbrella. I tried not to laugh, but I did like watching him. Then I found myself doing the same thing. Four female middle-aged students and I were going to ①dance to the AKB48 song ‘Fortune Cookie in Love’ at a talent show at the English school where I work. I had only ②two weeks to go before the show, so I was practicing the steps everywhere, while I was doing the dishes in the kitchen and even at the subway station. My feet just started moving while I was waiting on the platform.

I used to find it funny to see people practicing while waiting for the train or the bus. Now, I think that this is a part of Japanese culture “excelling yourself in your job or hobby”.
Western people have something to learn from that. Dedication makes people do things much better.
Seiko 先生、練習の甲斐があって、とっても素敵なダンスでした。
息もピタリと合っていて、目が釘付けになりました。
娘曰く、「後ろののりのりの若い人、うまいなー。」
「先生よ。」と教えたら、前のめりでビデオに見入っていました。
クイズ、考えても決め手がなく、昨日に続いて今日もあえなくげきちーん。
